About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the complete global product lifecycle for assigned product categories, from on-market product management through new product development, launch, and obsolescence
- Deliver product revenue and margin for the category portfolio using market dynamics, customer insights, product differentiation, and marketing strategies
- Manage relationships and communication with suppliers, customer service, operations, and commercial teams
- Analyze markets, competition, clinical needs, and customer needs to identify challenges and develop category strategies and product roadmaps
- Create and implement go-to-market strategies and programs for new product launches, including product training
- Develop product positioning and value propositions and collaborate with Marketing on messaging
- Develop product claims and maintain product claims matrices
- Manage the Kerr product portfolio lifecycle, including global or regional product obsolescence
- Serve as product and market expert on positioning, competition, product performance, and market trends
- Maintain understanding of global market dynamics and competitive environment and their impact on business unit results
- Own pricing strategy and execution updates for assigned categories
- Participate in Daily Management meetings and continuous improvement activities under the Envista Business System
- Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally by ground and/or air
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required in a highly regulated industry, preferably medical device or dental
- Experience through both distribution and direct models highly preferred
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Detail-oriented problem-solving ability in situations with limited standardization
- Ability to think critically in tactical and strategic dimensions simultaneously
- Ability to engage, influence, and direct all functions involved in projects
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Strong financial acumen and ability to articulate a business case
- Strong data analytics skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficiency with project management tools for schedules, resource allocation, and program budgets
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Ability to meet the stated physical demands, with reasonable accommodations available
