About the role

  • directs the field activities of 8-10 field based direct sales representatives
  • establish contact with key management, decision makers, and influencers
  • develop and maintain an effective organization through recruiting, training, coaching
  • provide guidance and direction to field sales personnel
  • develop annual sales goals and projections
  • understand and support the company’s sales policies and procedures
  • direct and administer field promotions to promote sales
  • develop and manage the sales training programs
  • visit assigned customers regularly
  • meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • review and report complaints received from customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • 3-5 years of outstanding sales and/or sales management experience
  • must have basic knowledge of Word and Excel
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures
  • ability to travel overnight 50%
