About the role
- Responsible for leading business development/acquisition activities to drive sales
- Develop business plans and territory specific tactics to achieve sales plans
- Balance business retention, expansion, and new account cultivation
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to build trust with customers
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions
- Conduct complete territory analysis and planning to ensure revenue goals are achieved
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales records via CRM tools
- Interface with marketing and provide intelligence on competitive products
- Improve personal knowledge and sales skills.
- Travel throughout assigned territory and organize customer meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a track record in customer relationship and account management
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record
- Must live within the territory
- Proven selling, customer relationship and territory management skills
- Ability to manage assigned accounts effectively
- Critical and agile thinking
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge
- Professional presence that influences desired results
- Self-starter, self-motivator.
- Ability to adapt to job, environmental, and industry changes.
