• Act as the primary communicator of the project to the client and lead the client to the next engagement as a result of Design Team's work
• Manage and mentor members of the Design team
• Lead the development of process flow charts in Visio or other software
• Lead the team in the development of AutoCAD renderings of a new design layout
• Maintain project schedules and costs along with analysis of client data
• Communicate software capabilities/differences of WMS, WES, WCS
• Design material handling systems solutions in “green”, “brown”, and “existing” facilities
• Supply budget & firm pricing for designed systems while maintaining and updating the budget pricing tool
• Develop financial models that justify the selected equipment (Payback and ROI)
• Vendor support & coordination
• Be the “expert” in client presentations
• Travel to client sites to understand current systems and make recommendations for changes
• Stay up to date with and understand new technologies as they come into the marketplace
