About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for various administrative and operational functions to support the Division
- Act as a resource to the hospital, providers, and patient community
- Collaborates with Operations and Client Services Departments on credentialing
- Assists Medical Director with meeting agendas and maintains attendance
- Assists in issue resolution and remains current on policies and procedures
- Processes payroll for Providers and implements Kronos rules and pay codes
- Acts as liaison between Hospital Health System MSO and Credentialing Department
- Helps facilitate credentialing of Providers
- Assists Site Billing Coordinators to ensure medical records are completed on time
- Attends meetings, takes minutes, and maintains files for Providers
- Assists in recruitment process for open positions and monitors credentialing progress
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, billing, and compliance requirements for a hospitalsetting
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively prioritize work daily and follow up on open items in a timely manner
- Ability tomulti-task in a fast-paced environment whilemeeting established production and quality goals/metrics
- Able to communicate and work well in a team environment
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience; Associates Degree preferred
