About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for various administrative and operational functions to support the Division
  • Act as a resource to the hospital, providers, and patient community
  • Collaborates with Operations and Client Services Departments on credentialing
  • Assists Medical Director with meeting agendas and maintains attendance
  • Assists in issue resolution and remains current on policies and procedures
  • Processes payroll for Providers and implements Kronos rules and pay codes
  • Acts as liaison between Hospital Health System MSO and Credentialing Department
  • Helps facilitate credentialing of Providers
  • Assists Site Billing Coordinators to ensure medical records are completed on time
  • Attends meetings, takes minutes, and maintains files for Providers
  • Assists in recruitment process for open positions and monitors credentialing progress

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, billing, and compliance requirements for a hospitalsetting
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to effectively prioritize work daily and follow up on open items in a timely manner
  • Ability tomulti-task in a fast-paced environment whilemeeting established production and quality goals/metrics
  • Able to communicate and work well in a team environment
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience; Associates Degree preferred
