About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and delivering technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of Envision. This includes vendor-based, in-house developed, or hybrid solutions that address functional and non-functional requirements. The architect will work closely with the Digital Product organization to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, compliant, and sustainable technical architectures.

What you’ll need

Experience with Enterprise scale solutions including integration of multiple systems to achieve functional goals
Understanding of infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity principles
Familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, HL7, FHIR)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Strategic thinking and business acumen
Technical depth across application, data, and infrastructure domains
Ability to balance innovation with operational stability
Experience with vendor evaluation and integration
Ability to lead with influence in the absence of direct organizational power
Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
Excellent documentation and oral/written communication skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years in solution architecture roles required.
Experience in healthcare IT systems, including RCM systems, EHRs, patient portals, and clinical workflows
Preferably has past experience working with clinicians
Preferably has past experience with designing end to end user experiences
Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Certificates and Licenses (if applicable)
Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, or healthcare IT certifications are a plus
