Payroll Specialist
Envision HealthcarePayroll Specialist managing payroll processing for Envision Healthcare's locum clinicians across multiple entities. Ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with various stakeholders.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process an accurate and timely biweekly payroll for multiple entities and state jurisdictions
- Calculate locum provider compensation in accordance with approved contracts and compensation agreements
- Gather, review, and validate supporting documentation for provider hours, travel expenses, and billing invoices
- Prepare and support accurate invoices for third party clients, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant
- Compile and process data from time sheets/hours for all employees
- Manually calculate time records as necessary or upload interface file
- Data entry of W-4 and Banking information into system
- Review Payroll register for accuracy of time records and correct errors
- Audit changes affecting payroll data
- Provide research and customer service to employees who inquiry about Payroll
- Issue manual checks, stop payments, & initiate ACH retrievals, and submit to bank and process void checks as necessary
- Prepare and submit “New Hire” information to the State
- Calculate disposable income for Garnishment for Legal, set up in system, prepare check request for AP processing and respond to inquiries regarding garnishment
- Assist with preparing schedules for ACH and Positive Pay totals for Bank Confirmation
- Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes and/or deductions
- eLabor – set up new employees, reset passwords; changes to department; respond to employee inquiries, supervisor changes; and training
- Prepare documentation for both internal and external auditors
- Research general ledger questions regarding Labor Distribution
- Complete various clerical duties such as answering phones, opening correspondence, preparing folders, maintaining Document Bank offsite, and other clerical duties as required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements

- Able to effectively prioritize work daily
- Associates Degree preferred
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 2 or more years of related Payroll experience at a company with 1,000 or more employees
