About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Utilizes infrastructure build tools, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containers, and container orchestration tools for maintaining and supporting cloud environments.
Adheres to SOPs to fulfil standard user requests and troubleshoot somewhat complex incidents in the cloud environment.
Engineers and deploys cloud and hybrid solutions integrating compute, storage, data, and application services. Supports the implementation of multi-tier web architectures including auto scaling, load balancing, DNS, cloudnative services, file systems, and databases.
Assists in planning and executing workload migrations from data center environments to cloud platforms.
Configures networking and security environments, including firewall rules, subnets, and route tables.
Analyzes and resolves hybrid architecture issues leveraging prior knowledge and experience.
Provides support for DevOps methodology and tools.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Application development experience a plus
Cloud administration consoles, CLI, and API
Broad and competent understanding of the relationship between cloud and on-prem IT concepts and the ability to design solutions around hybrid requirements
Experience in the use of automation software a plus
Software or data development experience a plus
Proficient in the implementation of cloud-native architectures and developing fault-tolerant enterprise solutions within cloud infrastructures required.
Intermediate, advanced, and specialty level certifications for major cloud platforms
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in the field of work required.
