About the role
- Defines and leads Envision’s enterprise approach to leadership development, including leadership expectations, behaviors, and development standards across clinical leadership and indirect patient care roles.
- Translates organizational strategy, Purpose, Promise, and Values-in-Action into leadership development priorities and practical capability-building experiences that strengthen both leadership and operational performance across the enterprise.
- Establishes the strategic direction, governance, and enterprise learning standards needed to ensure alignment, quality, scalability, and consistency across all leadership development initiatives.
- Ensures leadership development efforts build both leadership and business skills, including decision-making, people leadership, and operating effectiveness in a healthcare environment.
- Oversee enterprise leadership onboarding and assimilation programs that drive clarity, accelerate leader effectiveness, reinforce culture, and strengthen long term retention and engagement.
- Guides the design and evolution of leadership pathways and development experiences that support leader readiness, transitions, and sustained performance.
- Partners with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align leadership development priorities with business strategy, growth, and organizational change.
- Ensures of high-quality execution, consistent standards, and continuous improvement across enterprise and clinical leadership programs.
- Ensures leadership development efforts are informed by insights, feedback, and outcomes, and continuously refined to meet enterprise needs.
- Leads employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success designing and leading enterprise leadership development or learning strategies in complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of leadership and business capability development, ideally within healthcare or similarly regulated, operationally complex environments.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into practical, scalable development experiences.
- Experience establishing standards and guiding alignment across learning and development efforts.
- Strong influencing, partnering, and advisory skills with senior leaders.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage high-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience is required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in leadership development, learning and development, or organizational effectiveness is required; including 5 years of experience leading teams.
- Experience supporting leaders across multiple levels of an organization.
- Experience working in healthcare, clinical settings, or operational environments preferred.
