About the role

  • Partners with business stakeholders to ensure stakeholder needs are accurately captured and reflected in the product roadmap.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements across multiple initiatives based on business value, customer feedback, and market demands.
  • Champions the execution of agile methodologies, ensuring disciplined practice of Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, etc.) and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Leads complex agile project execution, managing sprint planning, delivery timelines, and release schedules.
  • Owns and curates a strategically prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise goals; crafting high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria that drive clarity, enable efficient development, and deliver measurable value.
  • Brings deep functional domain expertise by deeply understanding the data landscape, business processes, KPIs, pain points, and use cases relevant to their assigned domain, ensuring solutions are grounded in real-world context.
  • Partner closely with data engineering, analytics, operations, clinical teams, and executive leadership to identify and prioritize requirements and translate them into actionable product initiatives.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to communicate product progress, resolve barriers, and ensure alignment and satisfaction across business functions.
  • Ensure product development meets established timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Continuously gather and analyze feedback from internal and external users to iterate product offerings, optimizing usability and impact.
  • Implement rigorous product evaluation metrics and use data-driven insights to inform priority and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develops and delivers change management plans by ensuring readiness by developing and delivering communications, training, and documentation that increase awareness, engagement, and user confidence.
  • Acts as a liaison with the data governance and security teams to embed compliance and governance requirements into product development processes.
  • Coaches and mentors junior Product Owners, fostering growth and building organizational product management maturity.
  • Serves as a role model for strategic thinking and leadership within the product organization.

Requirements

  • 4 plus years of experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on __data products__ required.
  • 4 plus years working in data and analytics required.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools. Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
  • Requirement Elicitation and Documentation: Understands how to translate business needs into prioritized backlog
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Stakeholder Management: Advanced stakeholder management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Advanced team collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all aspects of analysis and documentation.
  • Exceptional time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, embracing change and innovation.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in the field of work required.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management tools such as Jira or similar platforms. Certificates and Licenses (one or more preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
