About the role
- As a Manager, Product Owner within a Digital Product Organization, your role is to act as the voice of the customer and the guardian of the product vision.
- You are responsible for defining the product vision and goals, prioritizing work, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital products that meet user needs, drive business value, and achieve success in the marketplace.
- You will lead a team of Business Analysts and Scrum Masters.
- Manages employees by supporting, coaching, training, assisting with time management and performing evaluations; should conduct regular meetings with all direct reports.
- Collaborates with Business Analysts to ensure stakeholder needs are accurately captured in the product backlog and that team members follow established processes.
- Oversees data analysis efforts to support operational decision-making and provides recommendations aligned with business priorities.
- Works with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and assists in developing actionable implementation plans.
- Guides the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria to support development teams, ensuring clear understanding and adherence to requirements.
- Oversees the product development process, participates in user testing, and collects feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Supports the business by contributing to product goals and updates, ensuring features meet quality standards and user expectations.
- Analyzes product performance data to inform operational adjustments and leads product team ceremonies as needed.
- Owns the prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring alignment with stakeholder inputs, business objectives, and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Expertise in Agile development methodologies.
- Requirement Elicitation and Documentation: Understands how to translate business needs into prioritized backlog items in partnership with Business Analysts.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills to perform complex data analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Stakeholder Management: Advanced stakeholder management skills to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Advanced team collaboration skills to lead and mentor junior analysts and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy in all aspects of analysis and documentation.
- Time Management: Exceptional time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Advanced adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, embracing change and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in the field of work required.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on digital products required.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Jira or other product management tools
