About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants using AutoCAD, under the guidance of Design Engineers
Produce detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Develop 3D models, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings
Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Support BIM Asset Management, including the completion of Asset Registers and Asset Information Models
Coordinate and compile comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Manuals, including as-built models and drawings, equipment datasheets, operating and maintenance procedures, maintenance schedules, and spare parts schedules
Apply sound engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to design challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Applied Science (Drafting) or a related discipline with a strong technical background
Experience in a similar drafting or design role
Extensive technical drafting experience within an engineering environment
Strong understanding of process equipment, piping systems, valves, skid-mounted systems, and tank design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Plant 3D
