About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design & Review: Review and approve crucial project documentation, including P&IDs, fabrication drawings, electrical schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Equipment Selection: Perform advanced pump design/selection, hydraulic calculations, and valve/instrumentation specification to meet contractual requirements.
Strategic Sourcing: Author data sheets, collaborate with vendors, initiate RFQs, and make data-driven purchasing determinations to keep projects moving.
Collaborative Leadership: Drive critical customer and vendor meetings while supporting the sales team with precise cost, labor, and subcontractor estimates for commercial proposals.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred).
Experience: Proven track record of engineering success within the water, wastewater, or fluid process industries.
Tech Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and engineering applications is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: A self-directed, highly organized team player with top-tier problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills.
