About the role
- As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be part of the inside sales team, focusing on generating sales for both the Netherlands Business unit (which focusses on the Dutch and export markets).
- The team consists of external sales people who perform the majority of customer visits. They are supported by an inside sales team based in our office in Zaandam.
- The inside sales team deal with enquiries and recurring orders, plus leads generated by the outside sales team.
- You act as the link between sales, management, and logistics, contributing to improved customer satisfaction.
- The role requires flexibility, a proactive attitude, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- You enjoy helping customers find solutions, take ownership, and adapt quickly.
- Drafting and sending sales quotations via the ERP system. This includes negotiating prices and conditions with the customer.
- Selecting suitable solutions based on customer technical specifications
- Collaborating with External Sales to prepare, follow up, and convert quotes into orders
- Answering phone calls and handling related communications (no cold-calling required)
- Suggesting improvements in procedures, marketing, and logistics
- Providing support during colleagues’ absence or vacation, such as order entry.
Requirements
- Strong commercial skills for both internal and external clients
- Technical interest, can learn filtration business
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Office
- Basic experience with export process and incoterms
- Experience in a similar position
- Eager to learn and motivated to grow personally and as a team
- Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and in writing)
