About the role

  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash, Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting
  • Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts for the assigned processes
  • Monthly consolidation process, preparation of financial statements
  • Owner of month-end close schedule, coordinate with other teams on progress and provide updates to all related parties
  • Responsible to manage the payroll related processes
  • Responsible for technical accounting processes such as Accruals, Deferred Revenue, Warranty Accounting, Lease Accounting and Intangibles
  • Leading Group audit by ensuring that the necessary supporting documentation is made available
  • Work with the external auditor to meet deadline to file the IFRS Financial Statements of the Dutch entities
  • Preparation of IFRS Financial statements
  • Prepare accounting memo’s to support accounting treatment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, business or related subject
  • > 10 years of experience in a similar position, within an international organization
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Excel (including common functions and pivot tables)
  • Experience with Office365 suite and PowerBI
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system
  • Preferably experience in one of the big 4 accounting firms
