About the role
- Drive the IT roadmap and ideate smart, future-ready SCM solutions
- Build, manage, and grow a global Agile SCM team
- Collaborate with innovation teams to introduce cutting-edge technologies into supply chain
- Partner with business leaders to enhance or reimagine digital solutions
- Support stakeholders in designing and rolling out impactful SCM solutions
- Analyze performance, uncover opportunities, and apply best practices to boost efficiency
- Coordinate with IT leaders to align architecture and capabilities with SCM vision
- Provide strong team leadership and resolve critical customer escalations
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders to enable fast, scalable global delivery
- Work within Group Digital Services' Digital Solutions team to deliver global enterprise SCM solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Applied Computer Sciences
- Deep knowledge of SCM processes
- 10+ years in IT within the SCM domain
- Strong SAP ERP experience (ECC, IBP, GTS, WM, OTC)
- Proven leader with a hands-on mindset and strong ownership
- Solid grasp of information architecture, business processes, and SCM best practices
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and clear, confident communication (English required; German a plus)
- Inspiring, servant-style leadership with passion for developing high-performing teams
- Curious and tech-savvy—experience/interest in Gen AI, analytics, mobility, and cloud computing
- Experienced in managing service providers and complex projects under pressure
- Strategic thinker with budgeting, planning, and roadmap development skills
