About the role

  • Join the Sales Leadership Team to drive profitable growth.
  • Actively manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Support the Vice-President Sales Europe in developing strategy and tactics.
  • Regional business control and performance steering against KPIs (sales volumes, margins, AR).
  • Manage OWC/Cash Control – AR management with support from shared services and customer service teams.
  • Monitor sales accounting and price approval of rebates, commissions, and credit/debit notes.
  • Oversee margin and pipeline management to ensure timely information for stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and strategic/tactical initiatives across the region.
  • Act as a sparring partner to senior managers and support commercial performance dialogues.

Requirements

  • Strong background in Finance and Business Controlling
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Hands-on approach with ability to translate financial insights for non-finance colleagues
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in finance or commercial controlling
  • Full proficiency in German and English
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; affinity with SAP and Power BI is a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing or chemical industry is an advantage
