About the role

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for direct spend categories, ensuring that procurement activities align with corporate goals and deliver Total Cost of Ownership savings.
  • Actively lead cross-functional sourcing teams, driving supplier performance and risk mitigation across regions.
  • Embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new sourcing methods and supplier partnerships to contribute to our values and mission.
  • Define and deploy category strategies in line with corporate procurement guidelines.
  • Lead strategic negotiations and manage key supplier relationships.
  • Drive contract implementation and ensure compliance across regions.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and participate in supplier audits.
  • Foster collaboration between category managers and contract owners (COMs).
  • Represent Direct Spend in category planning and contribute to procurement strategy development.

Requirements

  • **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
  • - Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • - Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • - 3–5 years of experience in procurement or category management.
  • - Bachelor's degree preferred; additional experience may substitute for formal education.
  • - Confident, self-driven, hands-on mindset with a willingness to explore new areas.
  • - Fluent in English (negotiation level); German is a plus.
