About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Registration lead for all designated Regional Events and Meetings
  • Create event listings for each event in Cvent; ensuring registration fees, confirmation messages, cancellation policies and event waivers are accurate and up to date
  • Manage registration lists and waitlists for each event
  • Monitor all registration launches for all Regional Events and Meetings with Event Lead, Technology Team and other team members
  • Manage and lead registration onsite for designated Regional Events and Meetings
  • Create name badges and other printed material for event purposes
  • Serve as liaison for vendors that supply registration services
  • Respond to member calls and emails regarding all general inquiries concerning registration process and events
  • Compare hotel rooming lists and the registrant lists for Regional Events and Meetings
  • Assist to maintain operational plans, project execution timelines, manpower allocation charts, action lists, and project schedules

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor's degree is required
  • 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, tourism/travel, administrative support, communications & marketing
  • Strong knowledge of the event industry across multiple countries in Asia is an advantage
  • Bilingual proficiency (written and verbal) in English and Mandarin
  • Knowledge of an additional Asian language is a plus
  • Exceptional customer service skills and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a solution-driven mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required
  • Experience with Cvent, Canva & Monday is an added advantage
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 10% of the time
