About the role
- Lead the organizational approach to member-facing policies and procedures
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chair of the Governance Committee
- Triage Governance complaints and potential legal issues
- Manage proactive and reactive changes to EO’s governing documents
- Develop strategies to mature policies and processes in governance and risk disciplines
- Manage critical incident reporting according to management’s risk framework
- Conduct train-the-trainer programs for the Governance Committee members
- Develop and deploy training for chapter leaders on chapter governance framework
Requirements
- 10+ years (or equivalent) related experience
- Global experience in both profit and not-for-profit organizations
- Excellent ability to work in matrix and cross-collaboration environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exercise confidentiality and discretion
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
