About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes including data entry, invoice verification, and vendor communication
Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
Assist in financial statement preparation and analysis under the guidance of senior accountants
Support various accounting projects and initiatives
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes
Support ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
BA or currently enrolled in a BA degree program in Accounting, Finance, or related field
