About the role

  • Assist in employee communication, documentation, and record maintenance throughout the employee life cycle
  • Provide administrative support to the People Business Partners, including organizing documentation and preparing reports and materials for People Business Partner needs
  • Learn, develop and become subject matter in assigned areas of focus. and share insights and information with other members of the team
  • Help maintain a positive and responsive employee experience by assisting with day-to-day employee relation tasks
  • Track key metrics from HR data (e.g., survey results, turnover rates) to guide recommendations and improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with People team members to participate in various HR initiatives and projects
  • Help update and maintain People team documentation, including handbooks and internal policies
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and assist in adherence to state and local employment laws
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 0-1 years of relevant Human Resources experience (internships or HR coursework may count)
  • Basic understanding of HR laws, guidelines, and best practices
  • Ability to track and interpret HR-related data, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
  • Proficient with google Suite or similar software
  • Preferred: Experience with ADP Workforce Now or Workday
  • Preferred: Experience with basic data analysis and interpretation (e.g., analyzing employee surveys, HR metrics, or headcount reports)
  • Preferred: Interest in pursuing HR certifications (PHR or SHRM-CP certification)
