About the role
- Supports the organization’s procurement and vendor-management activities
- Reviews, analyzes, and negotiates vendor agreements and amendments
- Ensures consistency with company policies and established contracting guidelines
- Interprets complex contract provisions and assesses potential risks
- Partners with procurement and internal experts for contract review and negotiation
- Manages contract-review workflow from initial request through to signature
- Revises standard contract templates to align with the company’s contracting playbook
- Executes departmental projects and contributes to improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of contract principles and related business practices
- Ability to assess moderately complex issues and propose solutions.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload, prioritize tasks, and anticipate potential issues.
- Strong written and oral negotiation skills in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability with adaptability to unique contract scenarios.
- Strong business acumen with risk element communication in transactions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration at multiple levels.
- Strong technical proficiency with common business applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Salesforce, DocuSign, Adobe, Slack, JIRA, Google Workspace).
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience managing contracts in a corporate environment.
