Assistant Business Development Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate leads and build project pipelines through networking, prospecting and cultivating relationships with clients
- Support studies on markets and client segments, contribute to market strategies, and identify new opportunities
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth potential
- Build and manage strong client and partner relationships (EGAT, MEA, PEA)
- Prepare commercial proposals to clients
- Lead negotiations and contract signature with clients
- Support proposal and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead and mentor BD team members for performance and alignment
- Forecast pipeline conversion and report on project development activities on regular basis
- Provide customer service to clients as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- University Graduate with degree in Engineering, Finance, Law, or Business
- Analytical and organized with the high degree of commercial acumen
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the sale of technical solutions/financial products, B2B sales, or deal origination
- Knowledge of the business landscape and culture in Thailand
- Confident communicator in English and Thai
- Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to learn about the solar and renewable energy industry
- Willingness to travel frequently across the country and across Southeast Asia
- Experience in Power, Infrastructure, or Renewables is a plus
- Understanding of Power Purchase Agreements is an advantage
