Key responsibilities & impact

Drive sourcing actions and decisions in the Packaging and Membranes category
Own and lead cost saving efforts, commercial / contract negotiations and be the key contact for and to the suppliers
Manage and drive key Supplier Management Programs
Develop and execute Commodity Strategies with alignment from Key Stakeholders
Participate and support in New Product Introduction programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS or MS in engineering, supply chain or related
3-5 years of relevant experience in commodity management, with experience with Packaging
The ability to understand total cost models
A leader with a strong technical background in Packaging segment
An astute capability to recognize the needs and motivations of individuals
The capability to quickly understand complex engagements, identify creative business solutions, and drive successful interactions with outside partners
Demonstrated negotiating skills
Effective communication capabilities
Strong technical and business fundamentals
