About the role
- Process bi-weekly payroll for employees and contractors.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and laws.
- Collaborate with HR to manage employee changes such as new hires, terminations, and status changes.
- Assist in the annual preparation of payroll tax returns and W-2s.
- Implement and improve payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of ADP, Workday and MS Excel.
- Understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees and management.
