About the role
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise-wide compliance framework to meet regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions, including licence conditions, privacy legislation, anti-bribery policies, and marketing standards.
- Regularly update compliance programs in line with regulatory changes and emerging trends to ensure ongoing adherence.
- Oversee the implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with Australian and New Zealand regulatory requirements.
- Assist with management of notifiable data breaches, including documentation, investigation support and regulatory obligations.
- Act as system administrator for the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platform, including configuration updates, workflow management and reporting.
- Action and coordinate requests under the Privacy Act for customer's personal information and deletion including collating information, redaction and provision to customers.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance management within highly regulated industries, ideally in online wagering, gambling, or broader financial services industries.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand, including AML/CTF, Safer Gambling, privacy laws, and advertising standards.
- A proven background in developing, implementing and managing complex compliance frameworks and obligations within an organisation.
- Proficiency in compliance monitoring systems (GRC systems) and data analytics tools.
