About the role

Design, develop, validate, and deploy AI systems used in real-world clinical settings
Deliver safe, effective, and regulatory-compliant solutions trusted by clinicians
Collaborate with clinical teams and product engineers to integrate AI into healthcare workflows
Conduct cutting-edge healthcare AI research with opportunities to publish and present at conferences
Work in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment to directly impact patient care
Participate in product development for waveform AI across sleep medicine and other physiological monitoring applications

3+ years of hands-on ML experience, ideally in regulated or safety-critical domains
Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern data science methods
Proficiency with physiological signals, time series, or sensor data
Strong coding skills in Python
Proficiency with ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
Experience with medical data (imaging, physiological, EHR) a plus
Experience with addressing model interpretability, bias, and real-world deployment challenges
Familiarity with SaMD regulatory frameworks (FDA 510(k), MDSAP, ISO 13485) a plus
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. a plus)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with data engineering tools such as BigQuery, Mongo, Airflow, Dagster
Published research or patents in healthcare AI, and/or contributions to open source software
Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, comfortable with autonomy, and impact-driven
