About the role

  • Design, develop, validate, and deploy AI systems used in real-world clinical settings

  • Participate in product development for waveform AI across sleep medicine and other physiological monitoring applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on ML experience, ideally in regulated or safety-critical domains
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and modern data science methods
  • Proficiency with physiological signals, time series, or sensor data
  • Strong coding skills in Python
  • Proficiency with ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
  • Experience with medical data (imaging, physiological, EHR) a plus
  • Experience with addressing model interpretability, bias, and real-world deployment challenges
  • Familiarity with SaMD regulatory frameworks (FDA 510(k), MDSAP, ISO 13485) a plus
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. a plus)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with data engineering tools such as BigQuery, Mongo, Airflow, Dagster
  • Published research or patents in healthcare AI, and/or contributions to open source software
  • Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, comfortable with autonomy, and impact-driven
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in the United States (company cannot support sponsorships)
