About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Schedule and pre-register Diagnostic Services patients for appropriate procedures based on physician orders
Select accurate medical records to support patient safety
Provide patient instructions
Pre-register patients
Obtain and validate demographic and insurance information
Provide excellent customer service
Perform Point of Service collections and financial counseling functions as appropriate
Perform other job-related duties as required by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire
1–3 years’ work experience
2 years’ experience in a healthcare-related position
Experience working with insurance companies and/or pre-authorizations required
Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance
Formal typing proficiency with a minimum of 35 WPM
Intermediate proficiency in MS applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with multiple computer systems and dual screens
Ability to multitask and work individually while applying critical thinking skills
Customer Service experience highly preferred
Willingness to embrace innovation, including AI, to explore better processes
Must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require
