About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for performing admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
  • Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks.
  • Provide proper patient instructions and collect insurance information.
  • Process physician orders and provide excellent customer service as measured by Press Ganey.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard to relay calls as applicable.
  • Adhere to policies and provide excellent customer service interactions.
  • Conduct audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Pre-register patient accounts prior to visits, including demographic and insurance information.
  • Explain consent for treatment forms to patients and collect signatures as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Required Certification: CRCR (Required within 6 months of hire)
