About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work daily failed bills/claims on all systems including late charges, rebills and any additional billing reports.
Reviews/Updates failed bills & claims on host system and within billing vendor.
Works daily electronic submissions (or 277's) and resolves claim issues.
Monitors daily claims errors and resolutions providing recommendations on systems fixes going forward.
Works daily late charges & rebills.
Bills hardcopy claims attaching any needed documentation for payment.
Pulls EOB's and Medical Records as needed attaching to claims and mailing.
Contacts patients, insurance, any third party for insurance information or any additional billing data.
Creates training documents/tests.
Train educate staff, providing testing.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 to 3 Years of Desired Work Experience
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire - Company Paid
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 2 years of accredited degree or equal experience
Must also be CPB Certified
Must have billing experience on multiple payers or a SME on one payer
Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Must pass a typing test of 35 words per minute (error adjusted)
Must be able to provide a mock training session for the interviewer(s)
Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
