About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform follow-up and denial activities for claims
- Mentor AR Specialist team members
- Resolve claim payment issues and ensure timely reimbursement
- Communicate with other departments to resolve denial issues
- Maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 3 Years of experience
- Must demonstrate basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of claims review and analysis preferred
- 2 or 4-year college degree preferred
- 1 or more years of relevant experience in medical collections, physician/hospital operations, AR Follow-up, denials & appeals, compliance, provider relations or professional billing preferred
