About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform benefit education and validation for inpatient, observation, and outpatient liabilities
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and previous balances
- Assess patient insurance and financial information to determine liability
- Facilitate daily in-house call reviews with necessary parties
- Completion of pre-registration and registration tasks while collecting patient’s financial liability
- Make follow-up phone calls to patients post-discharge regarding liabilities and payment options
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) Required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)
