Key responsibilities & impact

Resolve multidisciplinary claim edits to ensure accurate and timely claim submission
Work daily electronic 277s, RTPs, failed bills, late charges, rebills, and failed claims
Collaborate closely with Billing and Denials Management
Contact patients, insurers, and third parties for missing insurance or billing information
Assist with new client implementations by preparing unbilled reports and playbooks
Float to cover absentee staffing needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma/GED
1 to 3 Years experience in hospital billing
CRCR Required within 6 months of hire
Experience in hospital operations, compliance and provider relations preferred
Insurance Follow-up experience
Home health care experience (Billing side)
Epic experience
Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and managed care experience
