About the role
- Perform all billing, correspondence, and scanning activities across the organization
- Manage client billing and ensure procedures are billed according to contracts
- Review and update client statements as necessary
- Print and mail all paper and secondary claims
- Scan documents to patient accounts
- Review correspondence and follow up as needed
- Perform duties while meeting mission, goals, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- This position is located onsite at Blue Ash CBO in Cincinnati, OH
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid)
- 1-2 years’ experience hospital billing (required)
- Experience in hospital operations (preferred)
- Experience in compliance (preferred)
- Experience in provider relations (preferred)
- Insurance follow-up experience
- Home health care experience (billing side)
- Epic experience
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and managed care
