About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform benefit education and validation for inpatient services
- Collect estimated patient liabilities including copays and deductibles
- Communicate with patients face-to-face during their stay to assess insurance and financial information
- Make follow-up calls to patients post-discharge regarding payment options
- Work with eligibility specialists on verification of insurance information and financial assistance
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)
