About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for on-site Patient Access staff
Establishing positive, collaborative relationships with operational leaders
Organizes functions through establishing clear accountabilities
Develops and maintains an effective team by selecting, evaluating, coaching and managing performance
Negotiates and recruits with other department managers for cross training
Promotes team-building relationships in all areas of responsibility
Works in a collaborative manner with all managers/team leaders
Accountable for a comprehensive and effective communication strategy within the facility and/or market
Determines appropriate staffing levels, monitors compensation
Directs hiring and training for leadership and patient access staff
Manages the budget
Rounds at/travels to other facilities within the market on a regular basis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of leadership experience
5+ years of Patient Access experience
Demonstrated advanced usage of AI
Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment required
Strong executive presence
Financial and project management experience
Experience setting strategies aimed at increasing associate engagement
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills required
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested
CRCR certification required within first 9 months of hire (Ensemble supported)
CHAM preferred
