AVP, Operational Strategic Initiatives

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the planning, development, and execution of strategic projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate executive presence by effectively communicating with senior leadership, presenting strategic initiatives, and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
- Oversee the implementation of technology initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and drive innovation.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and organizational performance.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with strategic projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and measure success.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracting processes to ensure successful partnerships and project outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated expert with Health Information Systems, specific focus on Epic Systems.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of technical interfaces for Health Information Systems.
- Experience utilizing and leading projects focused on operational optimization and process streamlining within Epic systems.
- Ability to evaluate and analyze current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Proven experience in developing roadmaps that align with organizational objectives and customer needs.
- Proficiency in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, along with familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Capacity to work independently, exercising sound judgment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to project management and delivery, with a willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members.
- Strong understanding of strategic business planning and execution within healthcare technology or related industries.
- Robust decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement in patient contact center operations.
