Manager, Patient Access – Pre-Access

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee strategic and operational functions for patient access and pre-access teams
- Manage multi-site operations and monitor KPIs
- Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and ensure compliance
- Partner with leadership to implement initiatives optimizing front-end workflows
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for supervisors and staff
- Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders and resolve escalated issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification
- Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 – 3 year's management experience in healthcare industry
- Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance or call center preferred
- Experience with Microsoft a must
- Ability to balance numerous priorities
- Ability to understand and master numerous computer applications
- Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI
