About the role
- Performing admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital
- Assigning accurate MRNs
- Completing medical necessity / compliance checks
- Providing proper patient instructions
- Collecting insurance information
- Receiving, and processing physician orders
- Utilizing an overlay tool while providing excellent customer service
- Operating telephone switchboard to relay calls
- Adhering to policies and providing excellent customer service in interactions
- Ensuring accounts are corrected using quality auditing and reporting systems
- Conducting audits of accounts and assuring forms are completed accurately and timely
- Pre-registering patient accounts prior to patient visits
Requirements
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Required Certifications: CRCR Required within 9 months of hire (Company Paid)
