About the role
- Support the Director, Revenue Cycle in the selection, direction and development of the billing department team members
- Report to the Director, Revenue Cycle
- Assist team members with problematic bills and questions regarding billing processes and best practices
- Responsible for direct oversight of a team of associates and supervisors with all decision-making regarding hiring, onboarding, training and performance management
- Manage the daily workflow of the department, monitor progress to identify trending issues and develop training or processes to address these issues
- Oversee progress and monitoring of worked accounts for quality assurance and productivity measures
- Assist in strategic planning and perform ongoing process improvement evaluation
- Review, update and implement policies and procedures to support the vision and goals
Requirements
- 3 to 5 Years of Experience
- Experience in EMR and Clearinghouse systems
- Experience in Physician Revenue Cycle
- Ability to occasionally travel if needed for client assessment or at the elbow support
