About the role
- Support the designated leadership team in Revenue Cycle
- Assist team members with problematic claims
- Develop short and long-term plans to improve revenue
- Work with insurance companies regarding denied payments
- Empower staff for process improvement
- Perform ongoing process improvement of accounts receivable functions
- Analyze trends in unpaid claims and denial activity
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years management experience in healthcare industry
- Medicare and Medicaid billing experience required
- Specific HIS computer systems knowledge
- Intermediate experience in using Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal skills
- Problem solving skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Proficient knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other third-party payer documentation
