About the role
- Reporting to VP, Patient Access; establish processes and policies for Patient Access across clients; determine and set strategy for Patient Access; improve processes, promote operational efficiency, enhance patient experience, meet regulatory compliance; engage and collaborate with operational leaders; provide vision, leadership and oversight for Patient Access functions and Senior Access leaders; modernize Patient Access: goal setting, tracking and reporting metrics, implement action plans, review and implement new technologies, standardize policies and processes, develop communication tools; accountable for comprehensive communication strategy promoting employee engagement; determine staffing levels and strengthen recruiting and retention; organize functions with clear accountabilities; develop leadership team by selecting, evaluating, coaching; negotiate cross training; work collaboratively to ensure successful compliant revenue cycle; assist with budget management and resource planning; ensure staff awareness/compliance with laws/regulations; perform other duties as requested; frequent travel required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or combination of education and equivalent work experience; Experience managing multiple health systems required (10+ preferred); 5+ years of Patient Access or Revenue Cycle experience preferred; Demonstrated experience implementing strategic initiatives and aligning company goals with operations; Ability to lead diverse teams and influence change management; Effective communication skills; Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment; CRCR certification required within 9 months of employment; Must be able to travel frequently
