About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Frame ambiguous business problems into structured analytical questions and define the right approach.
Lead the design and delivery of high impact analyses, ensuring outputs are statistically sound and decision‑ready.
Build scalable, reusable analytical datasets and dashboards that support cross team decision‑making.
Improve analytical modelling practices, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with business logic.
Provide constructive feedback and coaching to analysts to raise team capability.
Partner with stakeholders to align analytical work with strategic goals and influence data‑led decision making.
Identify and resolve complex data discrepancies, ensuring metric definitions remain consistent and trusted.
Communicate uncertainty, limitations, and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
Lead improvements to analytical processes, documentation, and validation practices.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and responsible use standards across analytical work.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience in data analytics with a track record of delivering high quality insights and modelling
Strong SQL skills and experience building reliable analytical datasets
Experience designing dashboards and analytical products that influence decision making
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to all audiences
Strong understanding of statistical methods, uncertainty, and analytical interpretation
Ability to challenge assumptions, reframe problems, and guide analytical direction
Experience improving analytical processes, standards, or modelling practices within a team
Experience in customer service, retail energy, or SaaS environments
Python skills for advanced analysis
Experience with Databricks or similar analytical platforms
Understanding of data engineering concepts and upstream data dependencies
Experience designing or reviewing experiments (A/B tests)
