About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Frame ambiguous business problems into structured analytical questions and define the right approach.
  • Lead the design and delivery of high impact analyses, ensuring outputs are statistically sound and decision‑ready.
  • Build scalable, reusable analytical datasets and dashboards that support cross team decision‑making.
  • Improve analytical modelling practices, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with business logic.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to analysts to raise team capability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align analytical work with strategic goals and influence data‑led decision making.
  • Identify and resolve complex data discrepancies, ensuring metric definitions remain consistent and trusted.
  • Communicate uncertainty, limitations, and trade-offs clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead improvements to analytical processes, documentation, and validation practices.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and responsible use standards across analytical work.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in data analytics with a track record of delivering high quality insights and modelling
  • Strong SQL skills and experience building reliable analytical datasets
  • Experience designing dashboards and analytical products that influence decision making
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly to all audiences
  • Strong understanding of statistical methods, uncertainty, and analytical interpretation
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, reframe problems, and guide analytical direction
  • Experience improving analytical processes, standards, or modelling practices within a team
  • Experience in customer service, retail energy, or SaaS environments
  • Python skills for advanced analysis
  • Experience with Databricks or similar analytical platforms
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and upstream data dependencies
  • Experience designing or reviewing experiments (A/B tests)
