About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, independently diagnosing and resolving routine issues from beginning to end.
- Apply and interpret HR policies and procedures to provide clear, consistent guidance to employees and managers.
- Support managers through coaching on documentation, policy application, and conflict resolution.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and share insights to improve the employee experience.
- Maintain a solid understanding of HR functions and know exactly when and how to escalate complex issues to an HR Business Partner.
- Build professional credibility by collaborating with our Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Benefits, Talent Development) to ensure business needs are met.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of HR experience in a Generalist or similar role.
- Experience supporting an hourly workforce or working within a Contact Center environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HCM systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, or similar platforms).
- Strong knowledge of employment law and the ability to interpret and apply policies to real-world scenarios.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle employee relationships thoughtfully, empathetically, and professionally.
- Strong technical agility, including the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, problem-solving, and HR operations.
