About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coach a team of Salesforce engineers and admins, fostering a culture of growth, autonomy, and high performance.
- Act as a force multiplier by removing roadblocks, clarifying decision-making, and refining execution processes.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align Salesforce investments with company-wide operating priorities.
- Oversee planning, estimation, and prioritization; balance "speed-to-market" with long-term architectural health and data quality.
- Ensure disciplined practices around design reviews, release readiness, and incident retrospectives.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex integrations and end-to-end solutions spanning Salesforce and adjacent systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of formal people management experience with a proven track record of developing talent.
- 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise applications (Salesforce ecosystem preferred) and managing complex integrations.
- Expertise in project management—specifically scoping ambiguous work, managing dependencies, and adapting to evolving requirements.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for business leaders and influence decisions across Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
- The ability to guide architectural discussions and technical direction without needing to be the primary "hands-on" developer.
- Comfort incorporating AI-assisted development tools into day-to-day engineering workflows (coding, testing, debugging, or documentation)
