About the role

  • Provide technical support to the development team by investigating and fixing software defects with guidance from more experienced developers.
  • Support the team in developing and maintaining systems, helping find solutions to technical challenges.
  • Write clean, readable code following team guidelines and established standards.
  • Contribute to a learning environment by sharing discoveries and questions with the team.
  • Work with relational databases, performing basic SQL queries and learning about data modeling.
  • Learn about software observability (metrics, tracing, and logs) and how to apply these practices to monitor performance, improve existing observability, and create new observability solutions.
  • Become familiar with containerization tools such as Docker to assist with application deployment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming logic.
  • Basic knowledge of Java.
  • Basic understanding of APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of databases.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactivity in identifying inconsistencies and seeking solutions.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to learn continuously and develop in dynamic, technology-driven environments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle multiple scenarios simultaneously and adjust strategies when necessary.
