About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides direct supervision of designated direct reports and performs functions such as but not limited to, the selection, onboarding, training, and development of the Operations team.
Learns, leverages, and develops team member strengths and skillsets with assigned work.
Embraces and applies the tenets of management training programs and corporate operating systems.
Initiates the development and refinement of processes, procedures, reporting, data management, and workflow automation within the scope of the Operations team.
Uses independent judgment to assign incoming workflow within the Operations team according to relevant skill set.
Responds to incoming customers inquiries and directs to the appropriate department or team according to established processes.
Examines and selects vendor resources prior to assigning to projects and/or referring to Project Managers.
Leads regularly scheduled meetings and serves as a resource to the Operations team and assists with functions that are more complex.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
At least five years of experience in an administrative or operations role
Prior logistics/international trade experience preferred
