About the role

  • Take over an existing customer portfolio.
  • Identify and acquire new customers and support them in day-to-day operations.
  • Understand and develop the sub‑metering market.
  • Map the thermal energy, water distribution and sub‑metering markets.
  • Monitor sales opportunities and manage quotations.
  • Plan regional sales targets.
  • Be responsible for the successful achievement of the annual budget.
  • Provide customer support in the sales territory, including technical assistance and sales advice.
  • Prepare specifications for tenders.
  • Coordinate customer requests within the organization.
  • Liaise with the internal sales team and product management on customer requirements.
  • Define offers to prepare submissions to the internal sales department.
  • Regularly report to the Director of International Sales.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the thermal energy, water metering and sub‑metering markets for France and the assigned countries.
  • Several years of professional experience in billing services, real estate economics or public utilities, ideally with a specialization in metering technology or meter manufacturing.
  • Completed technical training in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building services engineering or a related field.
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical situations clearly and understandably.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Resilience, reliability and adaptability.
  • Solid IT skills (MS Office) for effective use of software and systems.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Additional languages spoken in the assigned area are a strong advantage (e.g. Dutch, Swedish).
