About the role
- Take over an existing customer portfolio.
- Identify and acquire new customers and support them in day-to-day operations.
- Understand and develop the sub‑metering market.
- Map the thermal energy, water distribution and sub‑metering markets.
- Monitor sales opportunities and manage quotations.
- Plan regional sales targets.
- Be responsible for the successful achievement of the annual budget.
- Provide customer support in the sales territory, including technical assistance and sales advice.
- Prepare specifications for tenders.
- Coordinate customer requests within the organization.
- Liaise with the internal sales team and product management on customer requirements.
- Define offers to prepare submissions to the internal sales department.
- Regularly report to the Director of International Sales.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the thermal energy, water metering and sub‑metering markets for France and the assigned countries.
- Several years of professional experience in billing services, real estate economics or public utilities, ideally with a specialization in metering technology or meter manufacturing.
- Completed technical training in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building services engineering or a related field.
- Strong ability to explain complex technical situations clearly and understandably.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time).
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Resilience, reliability and adaptability.
- Solid IT skills (MS Office) for effective use of software and systems.
- Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Additional languages spoken in the assigned area are a strong advantage (e.g. Dutch, Swedish).
