About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute software development tasks as an individual contributor
  • Work on an agile product development team with scrum master, product owner, internal developers, and external consultants
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members and internal and external customers

  • Follow development policies and procedures covering testing, quality control, coding, and documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working on a professional software development team
  • Willingness to learn the basics of different Energy-as-a-Service business fields
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills and willingness to improve
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong desire for continual professional growth and development
  • Proficiency with multiple technologies and languages
  • Experience with agile software development processes
  • Proficiency with source code management systems such as Git
  • Experience with software quality control, including unit testing
  • Experience developing single-page web applications using Angular 2+
  • Experience with agile management tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and other scripting languages
  • Preferred: MS in Computer Science or related field
  • Preferred: Experience developing with Microsoft Azure

  • Ability to travel to job sites/office locations 25% of the time
  • Ability to perform prolonged desk and computer work, climb stairs, remain stationary for prolonged periods, repeat wrist/hand/finger motions, and adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds
